This year we are going virtual so runners and walkers can complete the 1k and 5 k race in their own neighborhoods and local trails safely over a period of two weeks. We hope that you will join us in achieving our goal of raising $10,000 toward the expansion and enhancement of the indoor cat holding, home to our servals and lynx.

The Riverview Park and Zoo is 55 acres and home to 150 animals within 45 species in our care. We are proud to be the only free-admission accredited zoo in Canada. 

Riverview Park and Zoo continually grows and takes on new ambitious projects.  Our guiding principles include remaining accessible to people of all abilities. We promote outdoor active play and learning in all that we do. Come out to play and learn about our award winning species conservation efforts and educational programs.

The Annual Fun Run at the Riverview Park and zoo has raised an average of $10,000 since 2010.  Projects have raised funds in order to expand exhibits and increase the fun and learning for people of all abilities and for generations to come.
